From around October, Nikko enters the autumn foliage season and temperatures begin to drop. Because wetsuits and thermal socks become required for warmth, the price changes during this season.

Children on the child rate will ride on the same SUP board as their parent or guardian. Up to one preschool child may ride together on the same board.

If a child outside the listed age range would like to paddle alone, or if a younger child would like to join, participation may be possible depending on the day’s booking situation. Please feel free to contact us.

On weekends and public holidays during the busy season from July to mid-September, an additional ¥500 per person applies.
Location: Bus stop in front of Utagahama First Parking Lot (Tachiki Kannon/Sightseeing Boat Departure/Arrival Point)
Nearby Facilities: Public restrooms (newly built in late 2019 and very clean), vending machines *Utagahama Parking Lot became a paid parking lot in 2024. *Due to the extremely crowded parking lot during the autumn foliage season, we recommend arriving early. Please feel free to inquire about the situation.
Meeting Point
Tour Flow
Step 1 | Meet and change
Please gather at the meeting point (the bus stop in front of the Utagahama First Parking Lot) and change into SUP attire in the simple changing area (you can change before the meeting time). Wetsuits will be distributed at the meeting time.
Step 2 | Lecture Start
We will provide you with a description of the route, information on dangerous areas, and important notes.
Step 3 | SUP Start
Let's start with Mount Nantai in the background! We'll paddle towards the former embassy. The route is approximately 2.5km and will take 1.5 to 2 hours.

Participation Requirements
Number of participants: Minimum 1 person, maximum 20 people
*Depending on the availability on your reservation date, we may be able to accommodate more people if you give us some time. Please contact us by email or phone to discuss.
Experience level: Those with at least one day of SUP experience, or first-time SUP participants accompanied by a friend with at least one day of SUP experience.
*If most members of your group have no prior SUP experience, we recommend the " SUP Experience Plan ".

Rental
Wetsuit: ¥500 per suit(tax included)
Depending on the season and your preference, a wetsuit top may also be available.
