Since the facility is reserved exclusively for your group and includes an instructor, you can enjoy a special and elegant experience.

A mystical sunrise viewed

The sunrise over Lake Chuzenji, Japan's lake closest to the sky, is truly exceptional! It's mystical and seems to give you a boost of energy.

Tea time on the lake

Enjoy tea time while watching the sunrise on the lake. You can also bring your own snacks, so you can enjoy breakfast on the lake as well.

※All prices include tax.

Children will be charged the child rate and will participate while riding on the parent's SUP board. (Up to one preschool-aged child is allowed to ride along.)
If your child is under the specified age, please contact us to discuss how we can accommodate them.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the above prices will be increased by 500 yen.

Location: Lakeside near Lake Chuzenji Boathouse

Registration and the start will take place on either the left or right side of the lakeshore at the Lake Chuzenji boathouse. (This may change depending on the crowd situation.) Please come here and complete the registration process.

*The boathouse, our meeting point, opens at 9:00 AM, and there are no restrooms nearby. Please use the restroom before meeting.

Meeting Point

Tour Flow

Step 1 | Meet and change

Please gather at the designated meeting point (near the boathouse on the shore of Lake Chuzenji).

Step 2 | Lecture Start

Before sunrise, we'll explain how to use the paddles and the elements of the surrounding equipment by the lakeside.

Step 3 | Tea time on the lake

Relax with a warm drink at a spot in the middle of the lake where you can watch the sunrise.

You are welcome to bring your own light snacks, such as sandwiches.

Step 4 | Enjoying the sunrise while SUP

Enjoy stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) as you watch the sun rise. Our instructor will also share stories about the history of the Lake Chuzenji area and the natural formations of the region.

Participation Requirements

Number of participants: Minimum 2 people, maximum 6 people

Experience level: Even complete beginners to SUP or those who are not strong swimmers can participate.

Rental

Wetsuit: ¥500 per suit(tax included)

Depending on the season and your preference, a wetsuit top may also be available.

Regarding single-person or mega SUPs

When making your reservation, please check either "Single-Person SUP" or "Mega SUP" in the "Other Options" section of the required information form. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us by email, LINE, or phone. We will suggest the option that best suits your needs.

What is a Mega SUP? It's a huge SUP board that can accommodate up to 6 people, perfect for enjoying with friends and family. It's very stable, so you'll barely get wet.

Notes regarding the early morning plan

・Depending on the weather, you may not be able to see the sunrise. Even if the sunrise is not visible, if the lake surface is calm and SUP is enjoyable, we will proceed as scheduled. If you wish to cancel due to weather conditions, we recommend using our optional "Unlimited Cancellation Option." (No cancellation fee will be charged for last-minute cancellations.)

Due to the early hour, public transportation is not yet operating. Please come by private car.

Insurance

We ask that you purchase accident insurance at your own discretion. On this page , we introduce domestic travel insurance that can be purchased online, as well as inbound travel insurance for foreign tourists.
