Sup! Sup! is recruiting future trainees to become SUP instructors at Lake Chuzenji in Nikko. We welcome those who want to learn SUP through on-the-job training, or those who want to make the most of their free time on weekends and have various experiences. We are still a very small team of just a few people, so there is plenty of opportunity and space for you to showcase your ideas and enthusiasm.
Recruitment purpose
This program at Sup! Sup! aims to contribute to enhancing the value of the Oku-Nikko area and cultivate individuals who can lead Sup! Sup! into the future by sharing our philosophy, hospitality, safety management principles, paddling techniques, and perspectives on the local and natural environment through ongoing training at Sup! Sup!.
Target audience and desired candidate profile
・Someone who loves and cherishes nature
・People who enjoy interacting with others and who enjoy hospitality.
・Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old (the upper limit is just a guideline).
・Those who are interested in becoming a Sup! Sup! instructor after completing the training.
・For those who want to work out, shape up, and build muscle while working
・People who like or are interested in SUP (no prior SUP experience is necessary)
・Someone who is highly motivated

General Training Content
If you're completely new to SUP, you'll start with beginner training. You'll gain experience and hone your skills by accompanying experienced instructors in real-world situations. In addition to that, you'll acquire experience in the natural environment and the unique characteristics of Lake Chuzenji, gaining the experience necessary to eventually lead schools and tours on Lake Chuzenji.
Expenses/treatment
- Participation in the SUP training program and accompanying participants on actual schools and tours are all free of charge.
- Once the management determines that you have reached a certain level of skill and experience, you will receive a training allowance and salary.
conditions
The principle is that you should attend training sessions at least once every two weeks, and not leave more than a week between sessions.
The training period will be approximately six months (one season).
About accommodation
It is also possible to participate in the training while staying at a guesthouse in Nikko City (with special benefits) . This is ideal for workation, side jobs, or living in two locations in Nikko City. If you are considering using the guesthouse, please let us know during the interview.
